EPDM/PP tubes & hoses are FDA- or BfR-compliant tubes and are mainly used as pump tubes & hoses. But EPDM/PP is also used for ventilator tubes & hoses, food tubes & hoses and pharmaceutical tubes. EPDM/PP tubes & hoses are chemical tubing and belong to the group of high-performance tubing, as it guarantees the highest abrasion resistance and the best chemical resistance. Its low gas permeability/low permeability is remarkable, which is why EPDM/PP tubing is also used as gas tubing.

FPM tubes & hoses

FPM tubes & hoses are classic laboratory tubes and chemical tubes, which are used in analytical technology, medical technology, chemical technology and biotechnology as well as in laboratory technology and process engineering. The resistance of FPM/FKM or Viton® tubes is extraordinary. The material FPM/FKM is resistant to hydrocarbons; mineral, vegetable and animal oils; aromatic and chlorine-containing solvents; many acids and alkalis; and oxidising agents. FPM/FKM tubes & hoses are flame-retardant, weather-resistant, abrasion-resistant and prove themselves through the highest mechanical strength.

NR and NBR tubes & hoses

NBR tubes & hoses, Perbunan® tubes and nitrile tubes are considered fuel tubes, gasoline tubes, oil tubes and diesel tubes. But NBR tubes are also sold as pressure tubes, suction tubes, beverage tubes, industrial tubes and food tubes. It is also known as drinking water tubing (KTW- and DVGW-tested), as well as thin-walled water tubing. The striking properties of NBR as nitrile tubing lie in its rubber-elastic, mechanical properties and its extreme flexibility.

NR tubes & hosesalso called natural rubber tubes or latex tubes & hoses, are extremely soft tubes, although they can withstand temperatures up to +60°C without an insert. Natural rubber tubes & hoses, or NR chemical tubes & hoses, are elastic and highly flexible. They are resistant to abrasion and ageing. RCT also sells NR tubing as vacuum tubing as well as compressed air tubing and, last but not least, as sandblast blower tubing, as well as suction and pressure tubing.

PUR and PU tubes & hoses

PUR tubes & hoses are offered as chemical tubes, film tubes & hoses, as spiral tubing and anti-spark tubing as well as insulating tubing, fuel and lubricant tubing as food tubing and lumen tubing as well as welding spray tubing. Polyurethane or Vulkollan® tubes & hoses are characterised by having both very high mechanical strength and elastic behaviour. They react like soft rubber. Their cold flexibility, even at -40°C, is remarkable. With small bending radii, PUR chemical tubes & hoses are particularly robust and kink-proof.

PVC tubes & hoses

PVC or THOMAVINYL tubes & hoses are known as laboratory tubes & hoses, pump tubes, vacuum tubes, pressure tubes as well as spiral tubes, but also as high-pressure tubes & hoses, food tubes, compressed air tubes & hoses, suction and pressure hoses, as ventilation hoses and spiral tubes, as well as water tubes and corrugated tubes. PVC is chemically resistant, but not to gasoline, oils, fuels or diesel oil.

SBR tubes & hoses

SBR tubes & hoses are hot water tubing, chemical tubing, liquefied gas tubing, cable protection tubing as well as compressed air tubing, which has its place in process technology, operating technology, pharmaceutical technology, chemical engineering and industrial technology.

Silicone tubes & hoses

RCT sells silicone tubing or silicone rubber tubes & hoses as pump tubing, analytical tubing, antistatic tubing as well as chemical tubing, as pressure tubing and vacuum tubing. But silicone tubing is also indispensable as hot air tubing and high-temperature tubing as chemical tubing.

It is also part of RCT's range as thermal tubing for electronic components and for protection against electrical voltage surges.

Alternative TPEE tubes & hoses

TPEE tubing is considered as chemical tubing, food tubing, pharmaceutical tubing and hydraulic tubing. It is considered to be highly abrasion-resistant and has a high wear resistance with the highest elasticity at the same time. It is resistant to swelling, for example, to oils, as well as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. TPEE tubes & hoses are highly valued in medical technology as food or pharmaceutical tubing. They are FDA- or BfR-compliant.

Plastic tubes & hoses are also part of our tube technology range

EVA tubes & hoses are regarded as laboratory tubes and chemical tubes and are used in particular in process technology. Their resistance to hydrogen peroxide, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, perchloric acid, potassium hydroxide solution, acetic acid as well as formic acid is remarkable.

ETFE and HPLC tubes & hoses are flexible and impact-resistant; they are free of extractable components. They are resistant to solvents and are therefore ideal capillary tubing for HPLC applications.

FEP tubes & hoses and MFA tube technology

FEP and Hostaflon® tubing as heat shrink tubing, composite tubing, corrugated tubing and chemical tubing as well as flexible pneumatic tubing and hydraulic tubing is used to deliver organic and inorganic media and is used in chemical, medical and biological research, as well as especially in biotechnology and analytical technology.
