General Information Use for power transmission, bridging of large centre distances and... more

General Information

Use for power transmission, bridging of large centre distances and alteration of transmission ratios.

For various applications in machinery and plant engineering, in laboratory technology, in industrial and food processing plants, as well as in model making.

Quiet operation and synchronous transmission of power

Maintenance-free. Lubrication is not required.

High efficiency up to 98 %

Belt pre-tension is required

T timing belts made of polyurethane with pitch 2.5 or 5 mm. Light-coloured belts with little abrasion. For standard applications in machine building and food technology, to be used on T pulleys.

AT timing belts made of polyurethane with pitch 5 mm. Reinforced type for high loads with low space requirements. To be used on AT pulleys.

HTD timing belts made of neoprene with pitch 3, 5 or 8 mm. For high power transmission even at high speeds.

Black belts with dark abrasion (not for laboratory operations / food processing). To be used on HTD pulleys.

Notes on mounting and usage:

Pulleys must be aligned (precisely positioned)

The belt tension has to be adjusted (The overall sum of tensioning and peripheral force must not exceed the permitted tensile force of the belt.)

At least one pulley must be equipped with flanges.

And at least 6 teeth should be engaged at any time.

Timing belt drives run without lubrication.
