Slotted Hexagon Head Screw (DIN 931) made of PA - with Shank
Product specification
Partially threaded
Corrosion-proof, antimagnetic and vibration-free
High chemical resistance and low thermal conductivity
Good insulation and thermal resistance (-30 up to max. +120 °C)
Have proved great success in electrical engineering, chemical industry, vehicle and apparatus construction, as well as in building industry
Technical specification
Material: PA 6.6 (polyamide 66)
Color: natural
Regulations: DIN 931, ISO 4014, NFE 24014
General Information
Good coefficient of sliding friction
High mechanical stability and fatigue strength
Excellent resilience
Impact resistant
Resistant to abrasion
Resistant to cold
Chemical features:
Good resistance to weak alkalis, but only moderate resistance to strong alkalis; resistant to aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, fuels, mineral oils and mineral lubricants; suitable for alcohols, esters, ketones, ethers and amines.
Material specification:
The polyamides are universal materials for mechanical functional parts
The temperature resistance of polyamide (from -30 to +100 °C, for a short time +120 °C) allows use in many industries
Connecting parts made of polyamide and similar plastics protect from rust and corrosion damage
Insulating properties and an amazingly high tensile strength
PA can also be used in the food processing industry and in medical fields
Resistant to corrosion and abrasion
Non-toxic and unmagnetic
Vibration-damping
PA 6.6 features the same chemical resistance as PA 6
PA 6.6 has a higher hardness, abrasion resistance, and a little higher operating temperature than PA 6
However, PA 6.6 is a little less impact resistant compared to PA 6
