General Information

High-quality technical plastic for chemical apparatus and machine building, especially in the petrochemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, food processing, paper and textile industry as well as in the nuclear technology.

Chemical features:

Resistant to alcohols, fats and oils, alkalis, acids and halogens; limited resistance to oxidizing acids; poor resistance to ketones, amines, pyridine, dimethyl formamide, hot alkalis and fuming sulfuric acid.

Material specification:

PVDF has similar properties than the related PTFE (temperature range -60 °C to +150 °C)

PVDF is vastly superior to all other fluoropolymers concerning stability, stiffness and creep strength as well as resistance to high-energy radiation, but sliding and electrical insulating properties are a little weaker.

Excellent resistance to UV, aging and weather

Good abrasion resistance

Good dielectric strength

Good dimensional stability due to strong hardness

High stability and impact resistance even at low temperatures

Low dissipation factor

Can not be solvent cemented

Water resistant

Flame resistant

Physiologically safe

Meets highest purity requirements
