General Information
For sterilization and generation of highly pure fluids in a range of 20 to 2,200 ml, particularly of media which are difficult to filtrate such as colloidal, viscous (oily), foaming (sera) or oxygen sensitive, volatile or toxic media.
For fine clarification such as removal of particles and fibres after deep-bed filtration.
Safety filtration during production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and beverages.
End filtration in purest water systems.
Ultrapurification of processing fluids in the electronic industry.
Water filtration according to quality class I of ASTM-standard.
Complete holder at the bottom part of the pressure cell for fastening at the support rod.
The types with pressure plate (without pressure cell) are available in two designs. The unit (item 70702) is fitted with the complete support rod holder. Item 70704 is supplied with tripod.
Material: stainless steel 1.4401 corresponding to AISI 316, all parts electropolished
Filter support: perforated sieve without weld, made of stainless steel 1.4401
Seals: silicone
Max. operating pressure: 10 bar
Sterilization: autoclavable up to +135 °C, dry heat up to +180 °C
Connection: internal threads 3/8" fitting to all standard connecting pieces (items 70715, 70716, 70717, 70718)
