General Information

Cloth for screening and filtering purposes

Polyester monofilament (PET) features high weave quality, precision and regularity of mesh sizes. The cloth is insensitive to vibrations and highly resistant to fatigue caused by vibrations and bending. It does not crack and features very high abrasion resistance and resilience.

Moderate hydrolysis resistance

Good resistance to solvents and acids

Poor UV-resistance

Material: polyester

Density: 1.38 g/mm³

Tensile strength: 45 - 75 daN/mm²

Relative strength at wet conditions: 100 %

Elongation at break: 15 - 30 %

Moisture uptake: 0.4 % (at +20 °C and 65 % r.h.)

Melting point: +255 °C

Softening temperature: +230 °C

Temperature range: -75 to +150 °C (dry heat resistance at permanent load up to +150 °C)
