Chemical features:
SBR is a synthetic rubber with properties similar to natural rubber. Copolymers made of SBR base on butadiene rubber and have a styrene content of 10 % to 35 %. With increasing styrene component, the properties of SBR change to limited elasticity.
SBR is often mixed with NR, an ideal material symbiosis making use of the outstanding elastic behavior of NR.
