Product specification

Thick-walled, flexible and elastic chemical tubing, particularly for non-aqueous media, free of extractable constituents.

Extremely high resistance to abrasion, tearing, aging, and weather.

Chemically resistant to gasolines, bitumen, kerosine, aliphatic hydrocarbons, mineral oils, lubricants, for a short time also to aromatic hydrocarbons. Not usable for all halogenated solvents, water and aqueous solutions.

Tensile strength: 41.7 MPa (ASTM D412)

Tear resistance: 83.1 kN/m (ASTM D1004)

Ultimate elongation: 500 % (ASTM D412)

Tensile modulus: 5.5 MPa at 100 % Elongation; 10.4 MPa at 300 % Elongation

Compression set: 68 % at +70 °C / 22 h

Dielectric strength: 12.9 kV/mm (ASTM D149)

Water absorption: 1.12 % at +23 °C / 24 h

Resistance to media: excellent resistance to strong alkaline detergents

Regulations: FDA 21 CFR §177.1680 and §177.2600
