Resistant to most dilute and concentrated acids (e.g. hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid, dilute chromic acid) as well as aqueous salt solutions.

Resistant to mineral and vegetable oils, paraffin oil, alcohol, gasoline, aliphatic hydrocarbons (e.g. pentane, octane), and long-chain fatty acids.
