Cocks, Taps & Valves for a wide range of applications

Straight-through valves, shut-off cocks, ball valves as well as solenoid, diaphragm and pressure holding valves are building blocks for laboratory technology. As a specialist in fluid technology, Reichelt Chemietechnik offers a comprehensive range of cocks and taps. These include:

Plastic materials of our Cocks & Taps

Our extensive range includes dosing taps as discharge cocks, spigots and filling cocks, which are manufactured in the materials PA 12 (polyamide), PP (polypropylene) and HDPE ("High Density" polypropylene).

Ball valves also belong to the group of straight-through valves or shut-off valves.

An important group are ball valves as multiple-way cocks, which RCT offers in the materials PP (polypropylene), PVDF and PFA in nominal widths of 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm, where the multiple-way cocks are 3-way valves.

Pneumatic ball valves are offered as 2-way valves or as 3-way valves made of PVDF with pneumatic swivel drives or pneumatic actuators.

Brass and iron Cocks & Taps

In addition, drain cocks made of brass and stainless steel are available, which are suitable for gases as well as for liquids and vapours up to PN 10. Working temperatures up to +130°C are standard. RCT also offers Luer shut-off valves and ball valves made from brass and stainless steel, including as 3-way valves.

Plastic Cocks, Taps & Valves

Solenoid and squeeze valves are also important components for laboratory technology.

Solenoid valves are used in laboratory technology as well as in chemical technology.

Pressure holding valves made from plastic ensure continuous and reliable working pressures.

The pressure holding valves are pressure-resistant. They are used in dosing pumps to ensure dosing accuracy. When a counterpressure occurs on the suction side, the inlet pressure and therefore the dosing quantity remain constant.

The connections on the pressure holding valves must be taken into account in a modified manner. The following connection types are possible: shrink sleeves, sleeve sockets, welded sockets or screw connections with welded joints.

Stainless steel Cocks & Taps

In addition to solenoid valves made from plastic, RCT also offers solenoid valves made from stainless steel as 2/2-way solenoid valves or as 3/2-way solenoid valves. Valves made from stainless steel are also suitable for acids, alkalis and organic media.

The squeeze valves can optionally have one or two hoses added.

Diaphragm seals

The taps and valves category at Reichelt also includes diaphragm seals.

Regulating Cocks, Taps & Valves

The group of regulating valves includes shut-off cocks, fine regulating cocks, needle, and angle valves. These components are important building blocks for chemical engineering, laboratory technology and process engineering.

Angle Cocks, Taps

Angle Cocks, Taps & Valves or angle one-handed valves can be conveniently operated with one hand by activating the spring-mounted push button for dosing the sample quantity. The dosage is a fine dosage and simple to achieve.

Fine regulating Cocks & Taps

Fine regulating valves or spindle valves are used to convey liquids and gases in laboratory technology, especially in biotechnology.

Shut-off Cocks &Taps

RCT has a wide range of shut-off cocks. They are offered as straight shut-off valves as well as angle shut-off valves and are controlled by screwing in a spindle, so this group of shut-off cocks can also be classified as spindle valves. The valve seat of the shut-off cock is low-wear, which indicates an extremely high stability.

Regulating Cocks & Taps made from brass or stainless steel

The range of shut-off and dosing valves as needle valves or fine regulating valves includes needle valves made from brass and stainless steel, which, depending on the nominal diameter, can be loaded with pressures up to 65 bar or 40 bar. These valves are designed as straight-through valves or as angle valves.

Check Cocks, Taps & Valves

Check valves as Y-type valves allow the leak-free shut-off of liquid and gaseous media.

The function of the check valves can be explained in such a way that a membrane consisting of FKM/FKM (Viton®) ensures the sealing within the valve and ensures that a hermetic locking takes place within the valve. So a pressure is created in the direction of pressure which overcomes the force of the return spring and automatically opens the check valve.

Strainers

Strainers are important components for process engineering, process technology and chemical engineering. However, they are also used in wastewater technology and desulfurization technology as well as in water treatment and environmental technology.

Manual stop Cocks, Taps & Valves

As hand valves or shut-off valves, Y-type valves as manual shut-off valves are also part of the RCT range and are ideally used in process engineering, chemical engineering and process technology.

Order cocks, taps and valves online from Reichelt Chemietechnik

The complete range of taps and valves are kept in stock by RCT. Reichelt Chemietechnik delivers just in time.

In laboratory technology, chemical technology, process technology, pharmaceutical technology and medical technology, taps and valves are used in the laboratory, in the technical centre, but also in production. To promote high-purity media in pharmaceutical and medical technology, Reichelt Chemietechnik also offers taps and valves which are FDA-compliant or BfR-compliant.
